Langowan – Prabowo Subianto, the presidential candidate number 2, expressed his desire to build an excellent school in Langowan, Minahasa, North Sulawesi.
He conveyed this when greeting the residents of North Sulawesi who filled Lapangan Schwarz, Langowan, on Monday (5/2).
The desire will be realized regardless of the results of the 2024 presidential election.
“But I also have the intention to build an excellent school here. So whether I become president or not, I want to build an excellent school here,” said Prabowo.
Langowan, Minahasa Regency is the ancestral area of Prabowo’s family from his mother’s line, Dora Marie Sigar. This area indeed holds a special value for Prabowo.
He then thanked for the reception and support that the people of North Sulawesi have given so far. Prabowo also promised to come back to Minahasa, North Sulawesi.
“So I ask for permission, can I come back home? Can I? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for the reception, brothers and sisters. Thank you. Extraordinary,” he said.
Before meeting the crowd at Lapangan Schwarz, Prabowo first visited the graves of his extended family, Sigar-Maengkom. The enthusiasm of the people of North Sulawesi was also evident throughout the journey from Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado to Langowan, as they waited on the sidelines of the road to see Prabowo.
