President Prabowo Subianto has announced that 352 TNI soldiers will take part in the military parade commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. This announcement was made prior to his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon. Indonesia appreciates and feels honored by the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to be at the forefront of India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will include 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is set to meet Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation. This includes signing an MoU on collaboration in areas such as health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Moreover, meetings with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also scheduled during his visit.
