Presiden Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, melakukan kunjungan langsung ke warga yang terdampak banjir di Desa Tambun Inpres, Desa Buni Bakti, Kecamatan Babelan, Kabupaten Bekasi pada hari Sabtu (8/3). Dalam interaksi dengan warga di salah satu rumah, Prabowo memanggil beberapa pejabat terkait untuk segera merenovasi fasilitas yang rusak dan memperbaiki SD Negeri 04 Babelan yang juga terdampak banjir.
One of the officials summoned by Prabowo was the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, to ensure the implementation of the Free Nutritious Food program in the area. ‘Pak Dadan, how many kitchens are there in Bekasi? I am currently in Babelan District,’ said Prabowo.
During the visit, Dadan mentioned that there are currently two Free Nutritious Food kitchens in Bekasi Regency. In addition, the BGN is preparing a large kitchen in Jakarta to supply food when kitchens in several areas encounter issues, such as this flood.
Prabowo arrived at the location before Iftar time and had the opportunity to break his fast at one of the residents’ homes while engaging in conversations. He left the location before Iftar time, accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
