President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the success of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program during the Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly. With 20 million beneficiaries since its launch eight months ago, including schoolchildren, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers, the program has made a significant impact. It has established 5,800 Nutritional Service Units across 38 provinces, creating 290,000 jobs and involving one million farmers, fishers, and SMEs. President Prabowo emphasized that MBG is not just a social program but a strategic investment in building a healthy and productive generation. With higher school attendance and academic performance as early signs of success, Indonesia’s achievements in a short period have surpassed other nations. The Annual Session was attended by various state leaders, members of the DPR and DPD, and the entire cabinet.
