President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, expressed his support for Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s initiative to bring hundreds of Brazilian entrepreneurs to Indonesia during their bilateral meeting at Palácio do Planalto in Brasília. Prabowo emphasized the potential for accelerated cooperation in trade and investment between the two nations through this plan, aiming to establish tangible and concrete partnerships. Recognizing the shared interests and resources of Indonesia and Brazil, Prabowo highlighted the significance of learning from Brazil’s advancements in agriculture and bioenergy. He praised Brazil’s expertise in these fields and expressed Indonesia’s eagerness to benefit from this knowledge exchange. Moreover, Prabowo appreciated Lula’s commitment to assisting Indonesia in sending technical teams to study Brazil’s innovations and agricultural technologies. In addition to his participation in the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Prabowo’s visit to Brazil was also part of the preparations for President Lula’s upcoming visit to Indonesia in October, where a grand celebration is set to honor Lula’s 80th birthday.
