Prabowo remains optimistic about Indonesia’s economy, citing its strength and resilience. He stated, “I’m very optimistic. Our economy is in a strong position—it’s doing well. So whatever happens, we’ll remain strong.” The government’s thorough assessment of tariff negotiations led to a reduction from 32% to 19%, a result of meticulous number-crunching and strategic negotiations.
