Peringati Sukses Lauda: Ferrari Berlaga dengan Warna Biru di F1 GP Italia

Ferrari had a disappointing finish at the F1 GP Netherlands, but now they are focusing on another special event, the Italian Grand Prix. With the support of thousands of tifosi at Monza, they are looking to turn things around. They will do this with a special design that pays homage to the Cavallino history.

As shown on their social media, Ferrari will wear blue to commemorate Niki Lauda’s first championship with Ferrari, which oddly enough was also won at the Italian GP at Monza held on September 7. Scuderia used blue on mechanic overalls in the 1970s and combined it with red and white on the Ferrari 312T driven by Lauda, who clinched pole position and finished third (Clay Regazzoni won), which was enough to secure his first F1 title. He then went to win two more titles in 1977 and 1984, the latter with McLaren F1.

The Ferrari 321T was featured in a video when Ferrari launched this design. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, along with their mechanics, will wear blue shirts and blue hats. However, the driver’s jacket will remain red as usual but with a vintage touch on the fabric and the Prancing Horse logo, reminiscent of the 1970s.

Lauda’s crown, which also brought the Constructor’s Championship in 1975, ended an 11-year drought. Ferrari has now gone 18 years without a driver’s championship title (since 2007) and 17 years without a constructor’s title (since 2006).

Ferrari recently used blue at the GP Miami 2024, but it was prominently featured at the GP Miami 2025 a few months ago, receiving criticism for the design. Although the decoration did not change the fate of the Italian squad much, blue will always be remembered as a color synonymous with success.

Honoring Lauda will be very touching for Hamilton, who had a deep friendship with the Austrian driver during their heyday at Mercedes.
